Over the past decade or more many car companies recreated iconic designs from many years ago. VW started by bringing back the Beetle. BMW gave us back the Mini Cooper. Recently Fiat did a beautiful recreation of the 500. Ford (US) brought back the original Mustang design lines. Many other attempts were made, some less successful than others. Mostly these designs were limited to small cars and sports cars. Here is a retro version of a middle sized family saloon. The above pictures of a Citroen concept for a modern day DS have been floating on the internet for quite some time. In its day the DS (below) made roads worldwide more interesting with its avantgarde design. Personally I think bringing back the DS is a great idea. What is your opinion?
